My goal is really simple – To provide a quality all round service from the initial design discussions to the final handover, with quality workmanship throughout the whole process.

James has been working in the building industry for over 20 years and has great experience of all types of building and construction work. During that time he has studied and earnt himself various certificates and qualifications from carpentry and joinery right through to senior construction management.

Uckfield Building Services was founded by James Brown. James has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and started his career as an apprentice carpenter working on all aspects of carpentry and joinery. He served his time on construction sites working for a high end main contractor based in central London before eventually progressing into senior site management mainly working on high end residential projects, theatres and listed buildings.

James started UBS with the aim of becoming the go to local builder offering quality and experience in Uckfield, and it’s surrounding villages, whilst also covering London, and the South East.

James and the guys are passionate about what they do.  At Uckfield Building Services our aim is simple… to work with our clients offering our advice and experience throughout the whole building process to ensure that they get the best end result to suit their individual needs.

We don’t believe in cutting corners and ensure all our work is done to the very highest of standards.  We believe that a happy client means a happy builder and always aim for this goal whatever the project is, or its value be it large or small. We are extremely safety conscious and operate a strict no smoking policy on all our sites.

We are of course covered by full public liability insurance that covers your home or your business for any inconvenience such as damage, loss of goods or damage to your property while your work is being carried out.
